Waste Reduction Week Is Here
Oct 18th, 2008 by staff entry

Where has the year gone? Waste Reduction Week is upon us once again. “What is that?” you say. If you haven’t heard about it you’re not alone. Only a handful of communities, schools and businesses even know about it although the numbers are slowly growing. For those of you who haven’t received the notice here’s where you can view the press release.
Get Involved In Waste Reduction Week
This year Waste Reduction Week runs from October 19th to October 25th. It is a cross country initiative designed to promote the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. You can check out the official page of Waste Reduction Week to get more information for your municipality, school or business. On the site you’ll find all sorts of ideas on recycling and reuse that you can integrate into your own initiatives.
Here’s a couple of public service announcements used to promote the event.
